For the first time, The Orchestra on the Hill and Chorus North Shore embarked on an exciting musical collaboration in celebration of our North Shore home. The concert explored the concept of "voice" as both a vehicle for song and a means to express a personal vision or viewpoint. Repertoire  included eight original works that captured the character of our community and its unique set of qualities, passions, and concerns. Together, we discovered and celebrated the voices of our neighbors through music and song.

 

Featured composers included Abby Frost, Mary Koppel, G.Paul Naeger, Jerry Gates, Stephen Moore, Chris Florio, Thomas Palance and authors Cynthia August and Doug Brendel.
